The Week That Was!

Traveling by plane for close to 30 hours to get to the place we call home is well worth it. The sights and sounds that welcome you are unmistakable but I am glad we made the road trip from the airport town (Bangalore) to my hometown (Erode) in the middle of night and away from the scary traffic. The more roads that are built only seem to bring in more traffic.

The last few visits the time it has taken to get out of customs and all the formalities has been minimal. The places that I spent a decade or more have become unrecognizable and progress is everywhere good or bad only time will tell. There are more food and eatery places than ever before.

I also visited my grandparents' village which has also had its share of progress but it never fails to bring happiness.
