    I've read in one of the OG forums that a man in Canada grew this plant not for food, but for the beauty of the leaves.

  12. I couldn't see the bitter gourd until i saw the comments! :) Did it actually grow in your yard? I have black thumb though some of my indoor plants are doing well now. So, brown thumb maybe? :)

    Kay, I can surely believe that, they are indeed very pretty. The added advantages, the critters and creatures don't usually nibble on them and that keeps the leaves blemishless.
