Oh My! What are those?

Here it is!
These were the words that the 10 finalists of the 2006 National Spelling Bee had to spell. The winner spelt correctly a Sanskrit and a German word to Win the Spelling Bee. Katherine Close HATS OFF TO YOU!

    i can guess it is some medical terms and related to human body.
    i heard this EPITYPHLITIS may be related to appendicitis iam not sure.
    So what you are going to tell with all these words?

  2. Seems to me that all these words are from the recent spelling bee. The last word was the one that clinched it for the winner.
